Bike Tour Via Francigena

The package we offer is aimed at all those who like to spend their free time keeping fit, in contact with nature, away from the stress and chaos of the city. The program consists of 4 days, where riding our bicycles we will cycle on the Via Francigena to discover the historical and naturalistic beauties that surround us. From the rock tombs of Sutri to the Rocca dei Borgia of Nepi, up to the left basin of Lake Vico.

The 4-day Bike Tour program

First day: visit to Sutri

In the afternoon we will visit the suggestive village of Sutri, with its remote origins, which houses a large series of rock tombs of the VI-IV century BC and the rock church of Madonna del Parto, first Etruscan sepulcher and then a place of worship dedicated to the god sub-machine gun. Just from the god Mitra the church takes the name of Mitreo, entirely carved out of the rock, inside the walls there are remains of primitive frescoes. At the end of the visit, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Second day: Bike tour along the Via Francigena to Nepi

After having breakfast we leave for Nepi, following the Via Francigena we will walk the secondary roads surrounded by nature until we reach the town of Monterosi. The small village where the cardinal's palace is still present and which was the seat of the meeting between Pope Hadrian IV and Emperor Frederick the Barbarossa. From here we will continue on the Via Francigena in the direction of Nepi, home of the Rocca Borgia. A stop for lunch followed by the return to Sutri, passing through fields and secondary roads. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Third day - Bike tour on the Cimina variant of the Via Francigena

After breakfast we leave for the second bike tour. Following the Cimina variant of the Via Francigena, we will cycle to the Natural Reserve of Lake Vico, one of the most beautiful volcanic lakes in Lazio. After completing the tour that runs along the lake, we will return to the town of Ronciglione for a pleasant walk through the alleys of the historic center and stop for lunch. Traveling along secondary roads and cultivated fields we will return to Sutri with consequent return to the structure, dinner and overnight stay.

Fourth and final day

Breakfast in the hotel and departure.

This offer has a duration of 4 days and 3 nights, and is aimed at groups of maximum 10 people, with accommodation in a double, triple or quadruple room, depending on availability.
